Koinonia John the Baptist is an evangelization community at the service of New Evangelization. It is constituted as a private association of believers belonging to the Catholic Church and is canonically approved. Among its thousands of members are families, consecrated brothers and sisters and priests.
It is made up of many communities of life and alliance spread in various continents and united under one structure called the Federation of Koinonia John the Baptist.
Each individual Koinonia is constructed as a centre of evangelization and life where its members gather together periodically to grow in faith and evangelization training.
The name Koinonia John the Baptist indicates the inherent characteristics of the community: its nature and its purpose. It is a people of friends called to evangelize in the power of the Holy Spirit, following the example of John the Baptist, the one who witnessed and pointed to Jesus.
